PROMISES

At a time of creative rebirth, a list of promises to myself to help me overcome the hurdles at which I've fallen in the past:

1) I will not be afraid of failure.
2) I will do the things that scare me.
3) I will only make work that I genuinely care about.
4) I will not let a lack of resources stop me.
5) I will make the time.
6) I will not try to be the artist I am not.
7) I will experiment.
8) I will invest in myself as an artist.
9) I will prioritise my art.
10) I will be honest.

I may well add to these going forward, but they are a departure point!
